Due to increasing demand Towcester Veterinary Centre Group opened a new small animal clinic in Weedon in the Spring of 2014. Towcester Veterinary Centre has been providing veterinary services to all creatures great and small in the area for over 100 years.
We pride ourselves on being an extremely friendly and approachable team at Weedon. We believe that every animal deserves the highest standard of veterinary care and that every client should receive exceptional customer service.
Our purpose built Weedon practice is equipped with a state-of-the-art operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental facilities and lab. If you would like a tour of Weedon Vets then just call our reception team and they will arrange this for you.
Providing our own emergency service
We are one of the few practices in the area still providing our own out-of-hours emergency service. This is run from the Towcester Veterinary Centre hospital by our own vets and nurses (so if you are seen in an emergency you may well have the reassurance of seeing a familiar face).
All the latest news
We aim to keep you updated on topical issues through regular posts on our Blog, Facebook page and Twitter. We also hold occasional informal client talks at venues in the area.
We look forward to welcoming you and your pets to our community!
We have a small and friendly team at Weedon Vets. You can find out a bit more about them here.
To ensure we stay up to date and can provide your pet with the latest medical and surgical care, continual professional development courses are compulsory for all our vets, nurses and ancillary staff.
We also take an active role in nursing education. Our training nurses receive thorough, on-site practical training under the supervision of our vets, qualified nurses and assessors.
Sarah qualified from Liverpool University in 1998 and feels like she’s come full circle, having been with Towcester Vets for 3 years as a student before qualifying! She grew up on a Northamptonshire dairy farm and spent a few years in mixed practice before switching to small animal. She enjoys being an all-round general practice vet with a particular interest in endocrinology (hormones!) and internal medicine. Sarah will be running the Weedon practice from July 2014.

Kat has been veterinary nursing now for 10 years. She joined our team in 2013 originally as one of our emergency night nurses and made the transition to the day team at Towcester a year later. In January this year she made the move to the Weedon Surgery.
Lisa qualified in 1997 as a veterinary nurse and loves everything nursing. She especially enjoys emergency work and nursing hospital patients. Lisa works at Towcester doing a few night shifts a month as well as some shifts here at Weedon.
Becci has always had a passion for animals and thoroughly enjoys being able to interact with all the pets and their owners that come to Weedon vets. Having started working for a previous veterinary practice back in November 2014, she realised very quickly that this was something she would love to pursue.
Alison joined Weedon Vets as a receptionist in March 2015. Initially she trained as a radiographer before joining the family business in Towcester in which she has worked for the last 20 years.
